Sarah Alexander, PMHNP -BC, FNP-BC, is currently accepting new patients. She is dual board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Since graduating with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2012 from Frontier Nursing University, she has held various roles, including Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Women’s Health.
Prior to obtaining her advanced degree, she worked as an inpatient Registered Nurse at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
Utilizing her background, she aims to provide specialized care with a holistic perspective. Her treatment focus includes depression, anxiety, panic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. Sarah specializes in women’s mental health, including prenatal, perinatal, postpartum, perimenopausal, and menopausal depressive disorders.
Sarah offers compassionate and evidence-based care. She views her role in her patients’ health care journey as a privilege and is passionate about continuing to provide expanded services to meet the needs of her patients. Sarah offers medication Management and therapy services for individuals aged 16 and above.
